I started PC Fixer in 2001 and since then we have built a clientele of over 3000 clients. Our clients range from universities (USC Fertility and USC Annenberg) to Law Firms, property management companies, retail stores, restaurants, dental and doctor offices, day care centers, mortgage brokers, home offices, home users and international companies (Weckerle Cosmetics). We serve national chain stores and do remote access work all around the world from London to Canada to New York to Hawaii. We even have clients fly us out to their offices and stores in other states to perform work that they deem we are the only ones to trust with their IT.
We manage networks ranging from 2 computers to 50 computers to managing the IT connectivity of 400 users for a property management company at 8 locations (Creative Environments). We are familiar with all of the major software programs including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite etc. while at the same time always recommending free software solutions whenever prudent. We set up the POS system that manages a cosmetics retail store (Vitativ) with 8 locations and are familiar with several POS systems. We manage Exchange and migrate to Hosted Exchange. We manage all Microsoft Operating Systems including Server, SBS Server, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98 and Windows 95. We are familiar with several distros of Linux including Ubuntu. We manage networks and install, configure and manage firewall appliances such Sonicwall, Cisco, Linsys, Dlink, Netgear and more. We make network cabling to order and to length. We install patch panels and switches. We build custom servers and custom workstations. We spec out infrastructure from Dell, HP and other major computer manufacturers. We repair all hardware for desktop and laptop computers including motherboard repairs. We are familiar with Mac OS. We perform upgrades and repairs on most Mac desktop and laptop computers and we network a mixture of Mac and PC computers to share information and peripherals.
Our goal is to respond to client needs on demand while at the same time constantly making ourselves aware of our customers IT infrastructure and making suggestions on current configurations for regular improvement. We are very aware of inter-office efficiency and how important it is to tune a computer to eliminate slowdowns and bottlenecks. We always try to offer good advice and make sure that our customers data is safe; that is priority number one. We want our clients to feel that the money they spend with us is an investment and not a cost. In short, we try to save our customers money and treat them so well that they feel compelled to refer us more business. Our reputation speaks for itself.
